Rubber TypeMain properties
NBR
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene
or Nitrile Rubber
Resistant to oil, pressure, abrasion. High elasticity and mechanical strength. Suitable for general hydraulic and pneumatic seal. Not suitable for working under sunlight and ultraviolet.
Application temperature: -20 to 120 ํC
EPDM
Ethylene-Propylene Diene Rubber
Resistant to chemical reagents. Suitable for hydraulic fluid of organic phosphate.
Application temperature: -50 to 150 ํC
Silicone Rubber
(Q, MQ, PMQ)
Resistant to heat, freeze. Low mechanical strength, bad bending and abrasion. Suitable for
fixed seal resistant heat and freeze. Not suitabe for working under high mechanical strength.
Application temperature: -80 to 150 ํC
VITON
Fluoro-Carbon
Resistant to heat, oil, reagents. Suitable for high temperature,
hydraulic equipment and vacuum equipment.
Application temperature: -30 to 230 ํC
CR
Chloroprene or
Neoprene Rubber
Resistant to oil, abasion and efflorescence. Good bending and excellent for pneumatic machine
and hydraulic fluid.
Application temperature: -20 to 120 ํC
HNBR
Hydrogenated Acrylonitrile-Butadiene
Rubber
Resistant to gasoline, freon, oil, acid, ozone, alkali, heating and freeze.
High strength and high abrasion.
Application temperature: -20 to 120 ํC
